Question: Regarding Play-by-Play Data

Where do y'all get it? Specifically, I can gather game scores for every dating back to at least the early 90's and easily format it for my Excel sheets of probably-incorrect-amateur-rankings (TM).

For game play-by-play data, though, I'm having more trouble. Other than a brute force method, I can't figure out a way to gather PbP data for entry into a database. Any advice?

I've tried NCAA, I've tried ESPN, I've tried CBS (which I love for player stats, as they are comprehensive for ALL players and plays), I've tried FOX (which was not good), I've tried SportsReference (which was good on player stats, but for the requirement of minimum attempts)

Whoops, just saw this.

I’ve found that the best play-by-play data is that Automated Scorebook data that lives in schools’ official sites. It’s basically like what they have at NCAA.org, only it isn’t missing random special teams events and plays like that site.
