2016 Sun Belt win projections: Is it Appalachian State’s turn?

Full 2016 S&P+ projections and win probabilities for the Sun Belt.

NCAA Football: Appalachian State at Clemson Joshua S. Kelly-USA TODAY Sports

The final 2016 S&P+ projections are complete, but since I teased the idea of win probabilities in the primary SB Nation post, I wanted to use Study Hall as a repository for total win projections. Below you’ll find odds of each possible given record (overall and conference-only) for each team in the Sun Belt. Enjoy.

Your conference title favorites: Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, Arkansas State. No surprises there, though S&P+ doesn’t like Arkansas State as much as last year’s record would suggest, I guess.

Your G5 Bowl contenders: Probably no one. Nobody has a better than 5% chance of hitting 11-1, and it would probably take 12-0 for a Sun Belt team to get serious consideration. (Though, hey, if Appalachian State upsets Tennessee...)
