The overall F/+ rankings, along with my S&P+ rankings and line stats, have all been updated for all action through 13 weeks.

1 Alabama 10-1 35.7% 1 0 18.1% 4 19.0% 2 -1.4% 97

6 Georgia 9-2 30.3% 8 2 16.5% 7 9.4% 23 4.4% 6
7 Florida State 11-0 28.9% 10 3 17.2% 5 10.3% 20 1.3% 36
8 Auburn 8-3 28.4% 7 -1 20.4% 3 9.1% 26 -1.1% 90
9 Ole Miss 8-3 28.0% 4 -5 7.9% 27 18.8% 4 1.3% 37
10 Baylor 9-1 27.9% 9 -1 12.8% 13 13.7% 10 1.4% 34

There was only one major change near the top of the F/+ rankings this week: Ole Miss predictably took a tumble following a disheartening 30-0 loss at Arkansas. Georgia benefited from the Rebels' fall, and hey look! Florida State's moving up again!

By the way, in 2007, no team finished with an F/+ rating higher than +33.7%, and seven fell between 27.3% and 33.7%. Alabama is currently above that threshold, but the nineteams beneath the Tide are between 27.9% and 33.2%. It's been one of those years.

10 TCU 9-1 244.3 11 1 122.4 10 121.8 15

Once again, the outlier here is Marshall. S&P+ basically looks at the results (including Saturday's near loss to UAB, in which the Herd couldn't finish drives to save their lives) and decides, "Marshall, you're destroying bad teams like the No. 6 team in the country would destroy bad teams, therefore..."

(I'm much more comfortable with the Herd's No. 19 F/+ ranking. That sounds about right to me.)

Your weekly reminder that Alabama's offense is probably better than you think. Oklahoma's, too. The Sooners are back up to sixth (and ninth in Off. F/+) despite their quarterback and best receiver both getting hurt.

Hello, Baylor.

Offensive line

Once again, only two offense rank in the top 10 in both Adj. Line Yards and Adj. Sack Rate: Oklahoma and Alabama.

Defensive line

Virginia Tech's the only defense with top 10 Adj. Line Yards and Adj. Sack Rate rankings. Mizzou's in the top 15 of both.
