So I was pretty down on Bama following this game ... not doubting so much as just disappointed in them (because I'm their father now, apparently). I don't think I realized that MSU fumbled four times ... and lost none of them. MSU recovered all six of the game's fumbles. That will keep you closer than you should be.
Still, this was a total sleepwalk Alabama's offense, bailed out only by a small handful of big plays.
