Fun Stat Nerd Tidbit: Northwestern

Jeremy Ebert's efficiency in 2010 was staggering.  Here is a list of the high-volume receivers who averaged the most yards per target in 2010 (min. 70 targets):

Most Yards Per Target, 2010
1. Denarius Moore, Tennessee (13.1 per target over 75 targets)
2. Vincent Brown, San Diego State (12.9 over 105)
3. Titus Young, Boise State (12.3 over 71)
4. Justin Blackmon, Oklahoma State (12.0 over 148)
5. Greg Salas, Hawaii (11.8 over 160)
6. Jeremy Ebert, Northwestern (11.8 over 81)
7. Alshon Jeffery, South Carolina (11.5 over 132)
8. Darvin Adams, Auburn (11.5 over 84)
9. Kris Adams, UTEP (11.4 over 94)
10. Joe Adams, Arkansas (11.3 over 72)

That is, to say the least, good company. Northwestern's offense as a whole may have been lacking in explosiveness, but Ebert was borderline explosive simply because of how efficient he was.
