Week One
Week Two

We move to Week Three of Alternate 2011 ... after a couple more of these, I'll start posting full standings as well. But this will do for now.

College Gameday Location: Lincoln.

Boise State-Oregon is the biggest game of a week that features three ranked-vs-ranked games, but do you really see Gameday missing the opportunity to go to Florida State-Nebraska? I think not.

RANKED VS RANKED
No. 3 Oregon 34, No. 5 Boise State 32 (in Eugene)
No. 10 Nebraska 27, No. 4 Florida State 25 (in Lincoln)
No. 15 Michigan State 10, No. 16 Ohio State 7 (in Columbus)

The home team wins in each of the two biggest games of the week, with Oregon holding off a Boise State team playing at its best and a slightly overrated Nebraska team taking out an overrated Florida State team. But in week three, we don't exactly know who's overrated, do we?

LSU continues to plow through major conference teams, while No. 2 Oklahoma goes through Bye Week No. 2. The most interesting results are in bold -- Georgia Tech follows up a strong showing versus Alabama with an "upset" of Florida, Michigan still takes out Notre Dame late into the evening, Arkansas continues its slow start with a near-miss against Northwestern, and even when those cold, impersonal numbers are involved, K-State figures out how to win close games.
