At the NFL level, you know all the rivalries.  Cowboys and 'Skins fans hate each other.  Packers-Bears, yes.  Broncos-Chiefs, Ravens-Steelers, Patriots-Jets (or Patriots-Colts) ... all very interesting and enjoyable rivalries.  In college football, there are so many bitter, bitter rivalries you don't even know about.  Everybody has a rival, from the SEC to Division III.  The pure, clean hatred that college football encourages is just so much damn fun.

In celebration of all the intensely bitter rivalries we don't even know about, I'll observe the king of all rivalries, the first football rivalry.
